A feasibility study by the Taipei University of Technology Department of Environmental Engineering and Management, recommended that the local government in Taipei promotes the use of FWDs and co-ordinates this programme with plans for a co-digestion plant at the Taipei Bali wastewater treatment plant; aiming to avoid transporting food waste to the site by road.
